1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the KEIKKU website keikku.com and purchases made through it. By using our website or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products and Descriptions

  • All products are handmade in Finland
  • Product images are for illustration; slight variations may occur due to handmade nature
  • We strive for accuracy in descriptions but cannot guarantee all information is error-free
  • Colors may appear slightly different on different screens

3. Ordering and Pricing

3.1 Placing Orders

  • Orders are placed through our website
  • By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase
  • Order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance
  • Contract is formed when products are shipped

3.2 Pricing

  • All prices include applicable VAT
  • Prices are displayed in your selected currency (EUR, SEK, DKK, NOK)
  • Currency conversion rates are approximate
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before shipping

3.3 Payment

  • Payment is due at time of order
  • Accepted payment methods: Klarna, credit/debit card, bank transfer, and any other methods shown at checkout
  • Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping Zones and Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order size. Current rates and free-shipping thresholds are listed on our Shipping Information page.

4.2 Delivery Times

Delivery times are shipping transit estimates and do not include production time for made-to-order items (see the Shipping Information page).

  • Finland: 2-5 business days
  • Sweden: 2-5 business days
  • Denmark: 2-5 business days
  • Norway: 5-10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs, holidays, or carrier issues.

4.3 Risk and Title

  • Risk transfers to you upon delivery
  • Title transfers upon full payment

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights)

5.1 Your Right

As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after you receive the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by:

  • We will reimburse all payments received, including standard delivery costs
  • Refund will be made within 14 days of receiving returned goods

  • Products must be returned unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags

  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Products that have been washed or used

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Return Process

  1. Contact us at tilaukset@keikku.com within 14 days of delivery
  2. Receive return authorization and instructions
  3. Ship products back in original condition
  4. Receive refund within 14 days of our receipt of goods

6.2 Condition of Returns

  • Products must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged
  • Original packaging preferred
  • Tags must be attached

6.3 Refund Method

  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Klarna purchases refunded through Klarna

7. Warranty and Defects

7.1 Legal Warranty

Products are covered by the Consumer Sales Act (kuluttajansuojalaki) which provides protection against defects for at least 2 years from delivery.

7.2 What Constitutes a Defect

  • Product does not match description
  • Product is not fit for normal purpose
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

7.3 What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from improper care (see care instructions)
  • Damage from accidents or misuse
  • Products modified by customer

7.4 Remedy for Defects

For defective products, we will (at our choice):

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Refund the purchase price

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (text, images, logos, designs) is owned by KEIKKU
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without permission
  • KEIKKU is a registered trademark

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

For disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at tilaukset@keikku.com.

If we cannot resolve the dispute, you may:

  • Submit a complaint to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi)
  • Use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr)
  • Pursue legal action in Finnish courts

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms apply to orders placed after the update date.
