Sizing and Fit
How do I choose the right size for a pump belt?
Measure the circumference at the point where you want the belt to sit. For a stretchy pump belt, choose the size that matches your circumference measurement. For a non-stretch ramie belt, it's good to go a couple of centimetres larger than your measurement. All belts have approximately 5 cm of adjustment range in both directions (larger and smaller).
Should I measure the waist or hip circumference?
Measure the circumference at the point where you want the belt to sit on your child. This could be the waist, hips, or anywhere in between.
What if my measurement falls between two sizes?
Nearly all of our belts are made to order, so we can make a belt to your exact measurements. Simply add your measured circumference in the order comments field, and we'll make the belt accordingly.
Do the stretchy belts stretch over time?
Yes, the stretchy belts stretch slightly with use. This is worth considering when choosing your size.
Is there room for growth?
All belts have approximately 5 cm of adjustment range in both directions, so they adapt well to small changes in waist size and a child's growth.
Products and Materials
What is the difference between the stretchy and non-stretch (ramie) belt?
The stretchy belt is made of a soft cotton-elastane knit. The non-stretch ramie belt is made of woven natural fibre that does not stretch in use.
What is the difference between the window and non-window belt?
The window belt has a transparent plastic panel through which the pump display is visible without opening the belt. The non-window belt is fully fabric-covered.
Is a snap button closure available?
Unfortunately, snap button closures are not available in our range. Belts are fastened with hook-and-loop (velcro).
Does the velcro hold up during active use?
Yes. The velcro has performed exceptionally well in our belts. The velcro closure is designed to withstand active use, and we have received zero complaints about velcro in over six years.
What is the pocket size on the pump belt?
The pocket size is approximately 9.5 cm (height) x 14.5 cm (width).
Does a phone fit in the pump belt pocket?
No — the pump belt pocket is sized for a pump only and cannot be widened. We sell a dedicated phone belt that fits both a pump and a phone.
Is there a pass-through for pump tubing?
The tubing is designed to pass through the zipper opening.
Orders and shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. We are working on expanding to more countries in the future.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. We offer free shipping on orders above a certain value – check our checkout for current thresholds.
What colour options are available?
The colour options shown on each product page are what is currently in stock.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
We make every product to order in our workshop in Finland – nothing sits in a warehouse, and nothing is produced that no one needs.
Sewing your order takes 5–10 days for belts, pouches and other small accessories, about 2 weeks for backpacks, and about 4 weeks for injection pants, since each pair is made individually. Shipping then takes 2–5 business days within the Nordics.
In total: small items arrive in 1–2 weeks, backpacks in 2–3 weeks, and pants in 4–5 weeks. You will get an email with tracking the moment your order ships.
If you need your order for a specific date, count backwards from the estimates above and add a few days of buffer. In a hurry? Write to us – we prioritise urgent orders when we can.
Is local pickup available?
Pickup from Raisio (Finland) is possible. There are no delivery charges for pickups. We will notify you by email when your order is ready for collection, along with detailed pickup instructions.
Care and Maintenance
How should I wash my pump belt?
We recommend hand washing. Machine washing is also possible, but it may weaken materials over time, especially the plastic panel on window belts. Hand washing is the best option for the longevity of your belt.
Can the belts withstand machine washing?
The belts can withstand machine washing, but the plastic panel on window belts may deteriorate over time with machine washing. We recommend gentle washing at a low temperature.
Can I get my belt repaired if it breaks?
Yes! We accept belts for servicing. For example, a zipper replacement and wash costs approximately 15-20 euros including return postage. Alternatively, you can order a new belt in your preferred size and colour, and send the old one in for servicing (zipper replacement + wash for 20 euros).
What should I do if the window plastic cracks?
The plastic panel on window belts is unfortunately the first part to wear out. As a fix, you can try clothing repair patches on the plastic, or order a new belt as a non-window model.
